Astigmatic Keratotomy involves a corneal incision used to correct large amounts of astigmatism. It can be used alone or in conjunction with LASIK Eye Surgery. Astigmatism is when the optical elements of the eye have different powers at different angles resulting in a blurred or distorted image.
