Will I experience any pain?

Most patients experience very little discomfort during laser eye surgery. During the first few days after treatment you may experience some discomfort but medication and eye drops will assist with this.

How long will the eye surgery take?

The actual eye treatment time is measured in seconds and the surgery takes approximately 15 minutes for each eye.

What will my vision be like after the procedure

While you will have functional vision following the eye surgery, you may experience blurred vision for a few days. Your planned result is usually achieved within one to three months, although this does vary depending on your eye treatment.

When can I go back to work?

If you can, we recommend that you take the rest of the working week off. In most cases, you can return to your normal activities within a few days.

When can I drive?

Usually following Lasik Eye Surgery, you will be able to drive the next day. We suggest that you wait until you are used to both your night and day vision. With surface laser treatment we recommend you wait at least until the contact lenses have been removed.

Can I speak to someone who has undergone eye laser correction?
