Follow up Care

Hunter Laser Vision firmly believes that post operative care is just as important as the surgery itself, and we are dedicated to providing routine and ongoing post operative consultations to monitor your visual progress.

Patients must return the day following surgery, and those who have had Surface Laser Treatment must also return for contact lens removal after 72 hours.

Patients will then also return to our rooms regularly over the next 6-12 months.

During the healing period you may experience fluctuations in vision, glare sensitivity, and decreased night driving and reading vision, or halos. These symptoms will mostly reduce over time and you can be comforted knowing that you will be seen on a regular basis by your surgeon and the experienced staff at Hunter Laser Vision to discuss your progress.

Patients may see their local optometrist for some of these post operative appointments on a co-management basis if from out of town or if it is more convenient.
